NexCorp is a healthcare-focused technology company that connects healthcare practitioners with job opportunities and supports healthcare organizations in managing and recruiting talent.

THE PROJECT

NexCorp provided a web-based dashboard to serve both healthcare practitioners (HCPs) and healthcare organizations (HCOs). However, the existing dashboard was outdated, resulting in a poor user experience and inefficiencies in navigating the platform.

My role in this project was to redesign NexCorp’s platform to address these challenges and create a more user-friendly, modern experience. By adopting a user-centered design approach, I worked to understand the unique needs of both user groups and craft tailored solutions that would improve their overall experience.

The impact of my work was significant. The new mobile app for HCPs created a seamless and accessible job-seeking experience, boosting user satisfaction and engagement. On the other hand, the revamped web dashboard for HCOs improved their workflows, enabling them to efficiently manage and evaluate applicants.

THE PROBLEM
The outdated NexCorp dashboard frustrated both HCPs and HCOs with its cluttered design, poor navigation, and lack of clear information hierarchy. By treating the distinct needs of both groups the same, it failed to provide a personalized or effective user experience.

What NexCorp needed:

✅ A modern, intuitive web dashboard for HCOs to manage applicants efficiently
✅ Tailored tools to address the specific workflows of each user group
✅ A sleek, user-friendly design to match modern usability standards

THE PROCESS

We followed a structured approach to redesign the platform, starting with analyzing the existing dashboard and ending with a functional, high-fidelity prototype that addressed user needs.

THE SOLUTION
We created final screens for six key user flows based on insights from user interviews and stakeholder meetings, ensuring a tailored experience for both HCPs and HCOs.

What I did:
✅ Designed a separate mobile app for HCPs, providing a streamlined job search and application process.
✅ Kept HCO services on a dedicated web dashboard, with tools designed to optimize recruitment and applicant management.
✅ Enhanced existing user flows with modern design features to improve usability and engagement.

THE RESULT

The stakeholders were pleased with the final design, approving it and locking it for development.

Next Steps:
🎯 We're crafting a complete design system to ensure scalability, consistency, and a streamlined process for future iterations of the product.
🎯 While the current version is being developed, we are already planning for a robust Version 2, focusing on advanced features and overall product growth.
