THE PROJECT

OneSpace is a real estate listing platform by ApartInc., designed to help agents market properties efficiently. Our redesign focused on improving navigation, simplifying workflows, and enhancing usability.

Agents faced a complex listing process, inconsistent navigation, and a cluttered interface, leading to slow task completion and low adoption rates. New agents were 3x more likely to abandon the platform.

We led UX research, usability testing, and iterative design to streamline workflows, enhance navigation, and improve accessibility. Our work resulted in a 23% increase in task efficiency and 21% higher user satisfaction.

THE PROBLEM
Real estate agents using OneSpace's MVP encountered a cumbersome listing workflow, inconsistent navigation, and a lack of intuitive design. These usability issues caused increased task completion times, frustrations, and hindered platform adoption.

What OneSpace Needed:

RESEARCH
To better understand how our users currently navigate, we kicked off our project with a deep dive into understanding what 
users really needed.
11 User Interviews
Revealed that most agents struggled with the complexity and lack of clarity in the listing process.
7 Heatmap Sessions
Showed areas of inefficiency, particularly where users were spending excessive time navigating
Heuristic Evaluation
Identified several usability violations, including inconsistent design patterns.
Competitive Analysis
Highlighted that competitors with more intuitive designs and streamlined workflows were more favored by users.
By applying Design Thinking, we transformed OneSpace into an intuitive, streamlined tool that empowers real estate agents to work more efficiently.
SOLUTIONS
Efficient Image Upload Modal
A streamlined and efficient solution that reduces unnecessary steps and allows agents to access marketing assets directly from the dashboard, enhancing productivity and reducing time spent on repetitive tasks.
Key Performance Metrics
The redesigned homepage now offers key performance metrics with added context, empowering agents to track their progress at a glance.
Redesigned Property Card
The redesigned property listing form streamlines the image upload process with a unified popup, providing agents with clear guidance and reducing navigation confusion.
